Fall Festivals & Events near San Clemente

As the weather cools and leaves begin to shift their colors, it’s a great time to throw on a windbreaker and explore all the fun fall happenings in San Clemente. From a food truck extravaganza to the year’s most famed seaside festival, autumn is jam packed with excitement.

Chowder Up!

SeaFest at the Pier is back and that means clams a plenty for those who love a good chowder. This year’s festivities are scheduled for October 7 with the surf competition kicking off bright and early at 6am. Standard SeaFest hours run 9:30am-3pm with arts & crafts, live entertainment and more.

The Village Art Faire

One of Orange County’s best kept secrets and a fantastic opportunity to meet dozens of talented local artisans vending a broad selection of fine art, jewelry, metalwork, handicrafts and more. Make plans to visit the historic downtown corridor October 7 or November 4 from 9am-3pm. Stick around for a late lunch in one of the nearby boutique eateries.

Tempt Your Palate

The original Taste of San Clemente returns on November 2 from 6-10pm at the historic Casino San Clemente at 140 W. Avenida Pico.

Please note: No tickets will be sold at the door. You must register and purchase your tickets in advance online. $95 per person fee includes wine & microbrew tasting plus food, entertainment and dancing. Dress code is cocktail attire meaning no jeans are permitted.

4 Days of Fun at Vista Hermosa Sports Park

Carnival Colossal is a 4-day event running from October 11 through October 14 at 987 Avenida Vista Hermosa. Fun for all ages, enjoy food trucks and classic amusement rides. Entry and parking are free.

Puttin on the Glitz

Perhaps the 1st of December isn’t officially fall – but if you’re new to San Clemente you’ll want to mark your calendars for the season’s merriest event.

Experience the village character of Puttin on the Glitz downtown from 5-10pm. A magical evening of shopping, holiday carolers, roasted chestnuts and a visit from Santa Claus for the kiddos. Join your neighbors and friends for a night of joy and laughter.

Stomp Out Hunger

Support your community and those less fortunate by taking part in the 31st Annual Hunger Walk from 12:30-3pm on October 21 at the Community Center, 100 N. Calle Seville. Call (949) 492-8477 to register.
